Catherane House has a history that dates back centuries and would have once been the private residence of the Earl of Pembroke. The house was built in 1877 and the owners of the hotel have done a marvellous job of preserving and restoring a great deal of the period features of the building, whilst combining it with modern amenities. Set in lovely countryside, it is a great place to rest and relax away from the modern world.
